Southampton agree deal for Kamaldeen Sulemana – REPORTS

French news outlet L’equipe is reporting Southampton have agreed a deal of £22m (€25m) plus bonuses to sign Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana from Rennes.

Everton and Leipzig were reportedly interested in the winger but the Former FC Nordsjaelland attacker has chosen to sign with the Saints.

The 20-year-old will sign a four-and-half-year contract and will have a medical in France ahead of his move to the South coast.

Kamaldeen’s transfer to Southampton will be a club-record if bonuses are met.

The previous club record transfer fee for the Saints was the £22m they committed to signing Danny Ings from Liverpool in 2019.
