Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Steven Dese Mukwala has revealed his target is to win the Betpawa Premier League top scorer award at the end of the season.
The Ugandan international was in scintillating form on Sunday night as he spearheaded the Porcupine Warriors’ demolition of Kotoku Royals.
Mukwala grabbed a brace as Kotoko inflicted a 5-1 win over the Ghana Premier League newcomers and was adjudged the Man of the Match due to his outstanding performance on the night.
Speaking in the aftermath of Kotoko’s victory Mukwala told Startimes he has sights on winning the golden boot.
“My first priority is to make sure that the team wins then the goals will follow because that’s my ultimate goal to be the goal king.” He told StarTimes.
Mukwala has scored six goals in the 2022/23 Betpawa Premier League.
