Match Report: Legon Cities 1-3 Bechem United – Hunters gun down Royals in Accra

Bechem United climbed from a goal down to grab a massive win over Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium on match day 14 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

Two second half goals from Clinton Duodo and Hafiz Konkoni propelled the Hunters to a 3-1 win on Friday.

Legon Cities scored the opening goal of the game through Alex Aso in the 15th minute before Emmanuel Avornyo draw the visitors level in the 29th minute.

Despite creating a lot of goalscoring chances, Cites failed to restore their lead.

Bechem United came from the recess with a lot improvement taking the game to the host.

The Hunters took the lead in the 59th minute through Clinton Doudou.

Hafiz Konkoni put the game to bed for the visitors adding the third on the 78th minute.

The host despite their late pressure couldn’t find the back of the net.

Bechem United have moved to second on the league table with 23 points after the win.

Meanwhile Legon Cities remain on 12th position on with 17 points.
