Antoine Semenyo opens up about World Cup 2022 experience

New Bournemouth recruit Antoine Semenyo has shared fond memories of his experience with Ghana’s Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Semenyo was part of Ghana’s final squad for the Mundial where he enjoyed some minutes in Coach Otto Addo’s side.

The player enjoyd just 20 minutes combined of action at the World Cup, with a chunk of it coming against Uruguay in Ghana’s final group game.

Reflecting on his overall World Cup experience, Semenyo who was speaking for the first time following his move to Bournemouth said “it’s crazy playing against top players. “Representing your country is a big thing, I loved every moment and I’ll cherish it for a long time,” he opened up to Bournemouth media.

Semenyo has a new adventure to embark on following his move to Bournemouth.

The 23 year old has penned a deal until 2027 and his immediate target will be to help the Cherries overcome in the battle for survival in the premier league.
