Young Ghanaian Forward, Felix Afena-Gyan was the hero of the night as Cremonese shockingly eliminated Napoli from the Coppa Italia.
Afena-Gyan was introduced in the 65th minute with Cremonese trailing 2-1 with 35 minutes to go. The Ghanaian International then produced a powerful header in the 87th minute from Zanimacchia’s cross from the right to force extra-time.
Neither side was able to find the winner in the extra 30 minutes of game time and eventually had to settle for the lottery to find the winner.
Napoli midfielder Stanilas Lobotka missed the decisisve spot-kick and Afena-Gyan converted the winning spot-kick for Cremonese as they eliminated the Serie A leaders.
Cremonese will face AS Roma in the next round of the Coppa Italia
