Ghana could end up in a group with Germany (Pot 2) ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 draw which will take place in Doha on Friday.
The four-time African champions have been placed in pot four due to the team’s ranking on the FIFA World Ranking.
The two nations have met previously in the tournament having played out a pulsating 2-2 draw at the 2014 World Cup.
The Black Stars could also end up in a group with Brazil, Serbia and Holland or a kinder draw with the Qatar, Denmark and Iran.
