Medeama SC defeated King Faisal 1-0 in a reschedule matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League on Thursday.

A first half penalty from Vincent Atinga handed the host a hard fought win.

The match which was rained off on Wednesday was continued from the 27th minute on Thursday.

Medeama were awarded a penalty on the 41st minute after Kwasi Donsu was brought down in the penalty box.

Vincent Atinga step up and sent Frank Boateng the wrong way.

King Faisal after the break created several opportunities but couldn’t find the back of the net.

The host held on to their lead till the blast of the final whistle.
