The camp of the Black Stars of Ghana have been hit with some positive news as the duo of Daniel Kofi Kyereh and Felix Afena Ohene-Gyan have been declared fit for the upcoming clash with Nigeria.
The Black Stars face-off against the Super Eagles in the second leg of their crucial FIFA World Cup Playoff encounter on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
There is much to do to decide the tie which currently is aggregately scored at 0-0.
During the first leg, Afena-Gyan who made his debut came off in the latter stages due to injury.
However, news from camp indicates the AS Roma forward is okay now and even took part in the team’s last 2 training sessions.
Another player who couldn’t play a key role in the first leg is Daniel Kofi Kyereh.
The St. Pauli midfielder played in the few closing minutes of the game due to a concern with his thigh. However, the medical team has sanctioned his availability in the second leg and he’s expected to feature more than in the first encounter.
Kickoff for the game has been slated for 5pm GMT.
Ghana needs to score and avoid defeat against Nigeria to qualify for what will be a 4th FIFA WORLD CUP appearance.
