The Black Stars will, perhaps be greeted with their biggest ever support outside the shores of Ghana in their game against Nigeria following the announcement of free tickets for Ghanaians to watch the second leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff between Ghana and Nigeria.
Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Hon. Rashid Bawa has announced that free tickets will be available for Ghanaians living in Nigeria to be able to watch the game.
This is in a bid to show massive support for the Black Stars on Tuesday at the Mashood Abiola Stadium.
Bawa made the announcement of Asempa FM on Monday morning.
The tickets, according to him, will be given out by the High Commission.
The Black Stars given an incredible reception at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday when they hosted the super Eagles of Nigeria in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi was pregnant with 40,000 fans to support the Black Stars in a game that left the Nigerians awed.
The Mashood Abiola stadium has been given clearance by CAF to admit full fans and 60,000 fans are expected to fill the stands.
Both Ghana and Nigeria look to crack the hard nut to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar with the game in Abuja serving as the final hurdle.
Ghana needs a score draw or a win to pick the ticket to Qatar while nothing but a win can save the Super Eagles.
