Ghana Black Stars newbie Dennis Odoi made his debut for Ghana in their goalless draw against Nigeria in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup play-off.

The 33 year old was handed a starting role as Ghana were made to settle for a draw at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Odoi was impressive and lasted the entire duration of the game.

The Club Brugge defender got his maiden invite to represent Ghana due to the lack of competition from the right side of the defense.

Odoi is expected to keep his place in the second leg when the two teams meet in Abuja on Tuesday.
