Ahead of their 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria, former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has stated games between Ghana and Nigeria are always unpredictable.
Gyan who has played against the Super Eagles several times strongly believe encounters between Ghana and Nigeria is beyond human imagination and is unpredictable.
As Ghana prepare to face Nigeria in the cagey encounter on Friday, Asamoah Gyan believe it takes mental thoughness and good preparations for one country to win in a such calibre of game.
Speaking on Legendo Sports Gyan opined that,
“Ghana vs Nigeria games you can’t predict, it’s about the mentality and preparation and that how one wins. Ghana and Nigeria have had their rivalry long ago. Honestly on paper right now, when you look at the statistic, they are ahead of Ghana a bit on paper” he stated.
The former Sunderland attacker capped 109 matches for Ghana scoring 51 goals to his credit.
Ghana will battle it out with Nigeria for a ticket to the 2022 World Cup to be staged in Qatar in November.
