Isreali based defender, Montari Kamaheni has replaced injured Baba Rahman in Ghana squad for the 2022 World Cup playoffs against Nigeria.

Rahman has been ruled out of the game due to an injury he sustained while in action for Reading FC.

Kamaheni, who plies his trade FC Ashdod, has taken his place in the set up.

The left back has been impressive for Ashdod since joining the club from Dreams FC.

He has featured in 21 games and made four assist for the club this season.

Kamaheni will join the squad latest by Tuesday to begin preparations for the first leg in Kumasi on Friday March 25.
