A Safety and Security Officer of the Ghana Football Association, Julius Ben Emunah wants the Ghana Police Service to arrest some irate football who attacked a match official during a Ghana Premier League fixture at Tamale on Sunday.
The incident occurred during a match week 21 game between Real Tamale United and Aduana Stars at the Tamale Sports Stadium which ended 1-1.
In the aftermath of the game, a video has emerged in the which shows an officiating official subjected to a hot chase and eventual assault by some angry RTU fans.
The melee continued for a while with the police personnel present barely acting to salvage the situation.
Reacting to this, the GFA Saftey Officer believes these hooligans must be arrested.
