Karela United were held to a 1-1 draw at home against rivals Medeama on Friday.
A second half strike from Musah Sule cancelled Patrick Mensah’s opener as the two side shared the spoils on the day.
Medeama started the game very well and nearly took the lead but Gyan Fosu Darlington’s effort went wide..
Rashid Nortey also forced goalkeeper Felix Kyei to make a great save few minute later.
It took a while before the hosts settled in the game.
Karela United finally took the lead on the 30th minutes, Patrick Mensah dazzled his marker before putting the ball at the back of the net.
Medeama reacted so well and Rashid Nortey saw his shot went wide.
Karela United maintained their lead till the blast of the whistle.
Medeama returned from the break looking more purposeful searching for the equalizer.
Musah Sule grabbed the equalizer with a fine finish in the penalty box.
The host reacted very well after going down, Maxwell Boakye missed a glorious opportunity from close range.
Kamil Anaba few minutes produced a good save to denied Humid Dafie.
Both sides created host of chances but couldn’t find the back net.
