Salamatu Abdulai netted a quick brace for the Princesses on the 29th and 38th minute mark in the first department of the game. Ceceilia Nyama added a brilliant third on the 44th minute, just on the stroke of halftime.
The Ethiopians tried firing from long range in the bid to reduce the deficit in the second half but none of their efforts earned them a goal.
The Black Princesses thus will head into the return encounter with a 3-0 resounding away win and are on the verge of securing a ticket to the next edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Costa Rica 2022.
