Head coach of Ashantigold Thomas Duah is expecting more from his players following their 2-0 win over King Faisal on Friday.
The Miners ended their four games winless run with a hard-fought win over the Insha Allah boys at the Len Clay Stadium.
Kamaridini Mamudu broke the deadlock of the game with a beautiful free kick just before the break before Isaac Opoku Agyemang added the second in the second half.
Speaking to Startimes after the game, Interim coach Thomas Duah asked more from his players despite the win on the day.
“We are still on because I’m not one hundred percent [happy with the performance] but we are still working on our performance.
“We are looking at our performance in the next match,” Thomas Duah told StarTimes.
“We have to correct our problems because the connection among the players is too bad.
“The way the midfielders connect with the attackers was difficult in the first half.
Ashantigold will face Hearts of Oak in matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier.
