Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia have completed the signing of highly rated right back Christopher Acheampong from Accra Lions.

The 21-year-old signed a deal with the Reds after an impressive first round in the Ghana Premier League.

Acheampong had a debut Ghana Premier League season to remember scoring a goal in 17 games and winning three man of the match award.

Acheampong was one of the best right-backs in the league before his departure to Bulgaria.

“Everyone in the club welcomes him and wishes him health and much success with the team!,” wrote the club on their official website.

He is expected to join the team in training this week as he begins his career abroad.

CSKA Sofia sit second on the Bulgaria league table with seven games remaining to end the season.
