Eleven Wonders FC recorded a shocking victory over AshantiGold SC at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
The Techiman based side cruised to 4-1 win as they continue their fight against Premier League relegation.
The victory signaled the end of their 8-match losing streak on the road and their first away win of the campaign.
The visitors silenced the home crowd when they broke the deadlock through skipper Mohammed Tetteh Nortey in the 32nd minute to give them the lead at the break.
But defender Ali Mohammed restored parity for the Miners few minutes after the recess.
Wonders got their noses in front again past the hour mark courtesy of Osman Zackaria’s close range finish.
Before two late goals from substitutes Andrews Kuma and Laar Ibrahim in the 79th and 90th minutes respectively sealed the victory for the “Sure Wonders” side.
Despite the win, Wonders are still in the drop zone in 16th place but are now just one point away from safety.
Their next fixture is a home game against Berekum Chelsea while AshantiGold will look to bounce back when they travel to Aiyinasi to face Karela United.
