Former Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris has sponsored a young Ghanaian footballer to continue his football and education abroad.
Abdul Manaf, a product of the New Life Football Academy is the latest beneficiary of The Majeed Waris Foundation.
The youngster is currently enrolled at Brewster College in the United States of America.
Waris is widely regarded as a prolific philanthropist and humanitarian.
The Strasbourg attacker recently financed the construction of a two storey building Mosque in the Lamashegu community-Tamale, Northern Region of Ghana.
New Life Football Academy, a club in the second Division took to their social media page to express their gratitude.
