Former Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey has completed a shocking move to Division One League side, Soccer Intellectuals.
The 28-year old has signed a deal a deal to join a his boyhood club till the rest of the season.
Abbey started his career at Soccer Intellectuals before leaving to join Windy Professionals in 2005.
The winger after impressive spell at Windy joined Hearts of Oak in the 2010–11 season.
In 2018, Abbey ended his six years stay at Hearts of Oak and signed a two-year contract with Egyptian club Ismaily
Abbey’s contract at Ismaily SC was terminated on 1 August 2018 after reaching a mutual agreement.
He signed for Malaysia Super League club PKNP FC in January 2019 but currently a free agent after his contract expired.
Thomas Abbey was a member of the Ghana Black Stars Team B who won the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup in Ghana.
