Black Stars Goalkeepers’ trainer, Richard Kingson has disclosed he is currently monitoring 15 goalkeepers for the Black Stars ahead of March’s World Cup Playoffs.
The former Black Stars goalkeeper will be responsible for recommending Goalkeepers for Coach Otto Addo when the squad for next month’s qualifiers is announced.
Speaking to GTV Sports Plus in an interview, Richard Kingson has opened up on how he is keeping tabs on a number of shot-stoppers for the national team.
“I have about 15 goalkeepers that I am monitoring for Ghana. Some are in Africa especially Mutawakilu Seidu, Annan of West Ham, and a host of others” – Kingson said.
Joojo Wollacott has been Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper since he made his debut in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers last year and will be hoping to consolidate his spot when the squad for next month’s two-legged tie is announced.
