Fit-again Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen has come in for special praise from Elmina Sharks Coach Kobina Amissah following his performance against Asante Kotoko.
The diminutive midfielder started for Hearts of Oak in a crunchy Super Clash against their bitterest rivals and did not put a foot wrong throughout the affair.
His overall output helped Hearts deliver a solid performance to earn a goalless draw against the current league leaders.
It looked like his good works had gone under the radar with most followers of the game singing praises on the more popular players within the setup of the two teams.
However, a technical eye has paid tributes to Nurudeen for his performance.
Head Coach of premier league side Elmina Sharks, Kobina Amissah believes although Dennis Korsah (debutant for Hearts) won the MVP of the game, Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen was excellent in the game and deserves praise.
Read below his thoughts on the Hearts player.
I watched the game with my small eyes. Korsah played well but I enjoyed the midfielder in front of hearts defense ( Nurudeen). He is a gem ,I tell you .
He deserved the man of the match .That is my observation. He was able to put to check the highly touted midfielders of Kotoko singlehandedly. We all know Sulley’s strength now .
He is not all that strong like before just like Awako who is now picking up. Apart from his energy and power that gave him upper hand over the Kotoko midfield,he is also a very good passer of the ball .
Korsah was superb as a first timer in the superclash and at the same time against his former boss . That was a stupendous display from him .
But for me that midfielder in front of the defense is a masterclass.
