It is Andre’s first league title and his second trophy with Al Sadd after winning the Qatar Cup earlier in the season.
Al Sadd have now won the Qatar Stars League on 16 occasions.

Ghana international Andre Ayew climbed off the bench to score twice for Al Sadd in their 8-2 away win over Al Ahli in the Qatar Stars League on Monday afternoon.
Ayew scored on the 62nd and 94th minute as Al Sadd wrapped up the League title on the day.
He was introduced on the 46th minute as replacement for Algeria international Baghdad Bounedjah.
Al Sadd’s win took them 12 points clear of their Al-Duhail with four games to end the League.
Ayew has now scored 14 goals in his 17 appearances for the Qatari giant.
