Ajax midfielder, Kudus Mohammed, believes he has been unlucky with injuries following his recovery from a rib injury that kept him on the sidelines for nearly three months.
Kudus has been out of the game after he suffered a rib injury during the 2022 World Cup Qualifier in November 2021.
The midfielder however made his return to first-team action last weekend in Ajax’s 5-0 win over FC Twente.
Reflecting on the turn of events that led to his injury Kudus told Ajax’s media team, his injury crises to being “unlucky”.
“With the injuries, they are not injuries which happened because I was not training well or taking care of myself. I was just unlucky and things like that,” he said.
“I trust in God and I also try to control things I can, leave what I cannot to God. I try my best to stay fit,” he added.
Mohammed Kudus will be hoping for a spot in the starting XI this weekend when Ajax face Willem II in the Eredivisie.
