Division Two League February 18, 2022
The 2021/22 Eastern Region Division Two League football season will commence on Saturday, February 19, at the various league centres.
This was announced at the 17th Ordinary session of Congress by the Eastern Regional Football Association,(ERFA).
This year’s Division Two League will have fifty clubs participating with teams grouped into eight, where the champions of each group will compete in the Middle League after which the winner will automatically advance to the National Division One next season.
Newly promoted Third Division clubs, The Story Untold FC, Bridge Warriors FC as well as Ntronang FC will have their first Division Two League opening game this weekend.
In line with the provision in the statutes of the Ghana Football Association, which states that the football season starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year, the Eastern RFA is expected to complete all competitions under directive given by the governing body.
