The Speedstar has come under fire after a horrendous miss against Legon Cities on Monday, but coach Nurudeen Amadu feels he is needs better support from his team-mates and coaches in order to start scoring soon.
Head coach of King Faisal Nurudeen Amadu has defended his attacker Mawuli Wayo after his shocking miss in the 1-0 defeat to Legon Cities.
Mawuli Wayo despite providing 5 assist has failed to hit the target in 16 games missing glorious opportunities against Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities.
The former Charity stars attacker fired wide in the penalty box after been put through on goal by Ibrahim Osman in King Faisal defeat against Legon Cities.
But his coach has defended him, insisting he will start scoring very soon.
“Very frustrating, this things do happens. He has problem with goalscoring. We will have to encourage him. We will help him to overcome it. He is young and this is his first time in the League.
“We will help to him solve the puzzle. He is playing very well just the goalscoring.” He added.
