Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom was on target as he scored in Beitar Jerusalem’s win over Maccabi Petah Tikva in the Israeli top-flight on Sunday.
Beitar Jerusalem secured victory in difficult circumstances as they had to come from behind to earn a 2-1 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Boakye-Yiadom, who started the game on the bench, was introduced as a substitute in the 54th minute as part of Beitar’s bid to get back into the game.
The substitution paid off as the former Redstar Belgrade striker scored the winner in the 76th minute.
The 28-year-old has four goals in the ongoing campaign.
