Both teams kept it tight untill the blast of the first half whistle.
King Faisal came back from the break searching for the opener.
Atta Kusi came close on the 56th minute but his shot was cleared by Sulemana Mohammed.
Legon Cities took the lead on the 62nd through Jonah Attuquaye, the attacker blasted home a rebound to give the Royals the lead.
Mawuli Wayo had a Golden opportunity to grab the equalizer for King Faisal but blasted his shot wide.
