Legon Cities returns to winning ways with a 1-0 win over King Faisal on Monday.

A second half strike from Jonah Attuquaye handed the Royals a hard-fought win at the El Wak Stadium

Jonah Attuquaye had the first chance of the game on the 21st minute but saw his effort against the goalposts.

King Faisal came close on the 28th minute but Enoch Morrison’s shot went wide.

Hans Kwoffie came close again for Legon Cities but Frank Boateng did well to save the danger.

Zubairu Ibrahim had a golden opportunity in the 37th minute after a great pass from Wadudu but blasted his chance wide.

Both teams kept it tight untill the blast of the first half whistle.

King Faisal came back from the break searching for the opener.

Atta Kusi came close on the 56th minute but his shot was cleared by Sulemana Mohammed.

Legon Cities took the lead on the 62nd through Jonah Attuquaye, the attacker blasted home a rebound to give the Royals the lead.

Mawuli Wayo had a Golden opportunity to grab the equalizer for King Faisal but blasted his shot wide.

Legon Cities Kept it tight and defended very well till the blast of the final whistle.
