Former Asante Kotoko striker Abdul Fatawu Shafiu has given a clue he could be on the verge of a return to the club.
Fatawu Shafiu made himself a cult hero during his stint at the Porcupine Warriors forming a formidable partnership with Sogne Yacouba.
During his time, the 27 year old and colleagues inspired the club to the Group Stage of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup; the last time the club made it to that far in an African inter-club competition.
He left Kotoko for a spell in Sweden with Trelleborgs FF. This website understands his spell in Sweden has come to an end with the player contemplating a return to Ghana to play for Kotoko.
Earlier on Thursday he took to Twitter to tweet some emojis as clues to his next destination.
The tweet has an emoji of money, the Porcupine and love with the caption, I’m ready.
See Tweet below.

Does this hint of him joining Asante Kotoko, only time will tell.
