German based club, Borussia Dortmund have agreed to allow Assistant Coach, Otto Addo to take charge of Ghana’s crucial World Cup Playoffs against neighbours, Nigeria.
Otto Addo, a former Ghana International, has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the Black Stars after the departure of Milovan Rajevac.
The New Black Stars’ boss first assignment will be to lead Ghana in the World Cup Qualifiers as the team seeks redemption following their disastrous AFCON campaign.
Otto Addo, who was absent from the Black Stars technical setup at AFCON 2021, has now been given the permission by Dortmund to assume full duties of the Black Stars and is expected to be present for both games against Nigeria.
The former Ghana International was denied the chance to join the Black Stars setup in Cameroon by Dortmund because of his engagements with the club.
