Red Bull Salzburg have announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Agyakum.

The teenager has signed a four year deal with the club following a successful negotiations.

He joins the Austrian top-flight League side from Ghana Premier League side WAFA for an undisclosed fee.

Agyakum this season, featured in nine games in  this season’s Ghana Premier League scoring one goal in the process.

A statement on the club’s website read,

“With Lawrence Agyekum we sign a promising talent from Ghana . The 18-year-old midfielder comes from Ghana’s top division club West African Football Academy and has signed a contract until June 30, 2026 .

The youngster will initially be used as a cooperation player at FC Liefering.”
