Former Berekum Chelsea forward, Steven Owusu scored on his Goldstars debut to give his new side all three points in their matchday 16 Ghana Premier League encounter against Aduana Stars.

Both sides came into the game on the back of defeats from the last round of games and were seeking to return to winning ways.

It was the home side however that got the breakthrough eight minutes before halftime after a keenly contested game.

Striker Steven Owusu, who completed his move to Goldstars earlier in the week, opened his account for the Miners with a well-timed finish.

The striker’s first goal for his new side would prove to be the difference as Goldstars would inflict another defeat on Aduana Stars.
