Asante Kotoko’s newest assassin Frank Mbella Etouga has vowed to keep working hard to deliver the club this season’s league title.
The Cameroonian import has had an explosive start to life at the Porcupine Warriors since joining before the start of the current campaign.
Etouga has endeared himself to the Kotoko fraternity after firing in 8 goals in 10 league games, helping the club to establish a healthy lead atop the Ghana Premier League standings.
His latest display of brilliance was a double he scored to hand Kotoko a 2nil win over Great Olympics last Friday, eventually fetching him the game’s MVP Award.
Speaking through a translator in a post-match interview, Etouga has promised to keep working hard to help deliver the club’s primary objective; which is to win the league.
“It’s our first objective so surely we will win the league,” Etouga replied to a question about his ambitions for the club this season.
Asante Kotoko currently lead the table having accumulated 33 points from their first 14 games.
With a game in hand, the Porcupine Warriors have established a 7 point gap over their closest contender, Bechem United.
