Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu believes the impending transfer of Former Ghana International, Sulley Ali Muntari, will change the fortunes of the club in the ongoing season.
Widespread local media reports indicate that the former Inter Milan midfielder is set to join the Ghana Premier League champions on a one-year deal.
The 37-year-old has been training with side for the past weeks ahead of a possible move.
Muntari who won the UEFA Champions League title with Inter Milan in 2010 was spotted at the stadium during Hearts of Oak’s league match against King Faisal on Sunday.
Samuel Boadu when quizzed on the possible impact of Muntari’s transfer to the club said he believes the Champions League winner will be able to bring change into the Phobian’s dressing room.
“Sulley Muntari is a motivator and I like the way he speaks to the players. If he joins the team things will change”, he told StarTimes.
Hearts of Oak defeated King Faisal by a lone goal on Sunday to move up to the fifth position on the league table
