Ghana Premier League leaders Asante Kotoko lock horns with Accra Great Olympics this Friday to open the weekend round of matches for Match Week 15.
The Porcupine Warriors host Oly Dade at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday. The home side enter the game in fabulous form and will endeavor to keep their current run of going 7 matches without defeat in the league intact.
Since losing at home to King Faisal, Asante Kotoko have posted 5 wins and 2 draws in the league, and this rich form has seen them ascend the summit of the league standings with a healthy 30 points accumulated from the available 39.
Even with a game in hand – against bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak- Kotoko look to have stolen a march on the other contenders for the league title
The helmsman Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum can count on 3 players who have been instrumental in this rich form to once again do the trick against an Olympics side, often proving a difficult nut to crack.

This leaves much to do for Great Olympics gaffer, Annor Walker, who saw his side pull the plugs on their winless run last weekend.
A 2-1 result at home against King Faisal on Match Day 14 will restore some confidence while the return of striker Maxwell Abbey Quaye to the fold will also be a morale booster.
Abbey Quaye who has netted 5 goals in the league had been away on national assignment as he joined the Black Stars camp at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Coach Annor Walker will also draw inspiration from the fact that he has yet to lose to Asante Kotoko in his tenure as Olympics coach.
His side the Porcupine Warriors 1-0 in the first round of last season and drew goalless with the leaders in the 2nd round of the 2020/21 season.
They currently occupy the 6th position on the league log with 22 points – eight points behind leaders Asante Kotoko and five behind second-placed Aduana FC.
The match is scheduled for 3pm kick off at the Baba Yara Sports stadium and live on StarTimes Adepa Channel 247.
