Ghanaian defender Montari Kamaheni has been named in the Isreali topflight League team of the week following his stupendous Performance for Ashdod.

The left back was in scintillating form as Ashdod defeated Sakhnin 1-0 on Sunday.

Kamaheni who lasted the entire duration of the game was solid at the back as his side took an important point away from home.

The former Dreams FC defender was named in the starting line up after missing the previous game due to illness.

His performance on the day earned him a place in the team of the week.
