The National Sports Authority (NSA) has informed the Ghana Football Association to consider the Baba Yara Sports Stadium or the Accra Sports Stadium for the 2022 World Cup play-offs between Ghana and Nigeria as the Cape-Coast Stadium won’t be available for the said clash.
The Black Stars have been drawn with Nigeria for the final playoffs for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and will play the first leg at home before travelling to Nigeria for the second leg.
In a press release sighted by FMIG, the Cape Coast Sports Stadium which has been the home venue for the Black Stars during the qualifiers would be unavailable due to this year’s Independence Day celebrations slated for 6th March, the letter stated.
