Frustrated King Faisal midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie has explained the reason why he wants to leave the Kumasi based club.
The midfielder who joined the club at the beginning of the season on loan from Asante Kotoko has struggled to get more playing time.
This has forced him to write his parents club to cancel the loan deal with King Faisal.
Speaking to Fox FM on his decision, the former Nkoranza Warriors midfielder cited lack of playing time as the reason for his decision.
“When King Faisal wrote to Kotoko for my services, I made it known to them that I am joining them because of playing time. They agreed to my request but I waited till match day 5 without any sign of playing me, I approached them and was asked to exercise patience. The excuse has been the same and I think as a young player I need to go elsewhere and find playing time.
He added “My attitude to training has been the best, I always arrive at the training ground an hour or half before the others report. The coaches and everyone can testify my seriousness during training.
“I suspect there is a secondary reason why theyare not giving me the playing time.I will not boast but I have the belief in myself that I can play to the satisfaction of everyone,it is a God giving talent and everyone knows my worth.
“I would have proved to them if they had given me the opportunity but the coach did not want to play me”
Sarkodie joined Asante Kotoko from Nkoranza Warriors at the beginning of the 2020/2021.
