The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) have confirmed the relocation of quarter-final matches scheduled to be played at the Olembe Stadium to the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
The decision comes in the wake of the stampede incident that the Olembe Stadium on Monday evening during the Round of 16 clash between Cameroon and Comoros.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, CAF President Patrice Motsepe said the quarter-final match that would have been played at the venue should be moved to the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
Eight persons have been confirmed dead while many others were injured after the crash outside the Stadium on Monday.
