Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey was sent off on his Arsenal return following a dissapointing 2021 African Cup of Nations.

Partey featured in all the three games for Ghana as they recorded their worse AFCON in history

Partey who was in action for the Gunners in the Carabao Cup against Liverpool two days after Ghana’s exit in the nation Cup.

The midfielder was introduced in the 78th minute and was sent off few minutes later after receiving two yellow cards in the space of three minutes.

Liverpool advance to the final, where they will face Chelsea, with a 2-0 aggregate victory after the first leg ended 0-0 at Anfield.
