The Black Stars of Ghana have a clean bill of health, as there are no injury concerns or positive Covid tests ahead of their second game against Gabon this evening.
Milovan Rajevac’s side will be looking for their first win in the 2021 African Cup of Nations following their first defeat at the hands of Morocco on Monday.
It was feared that skipper, Andre Ayew, will not be available for the clash today having suffered a head injury against Morocco and subsequently missed training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
But the player returned to training on Thursday evening and looks set to be part of the team.
Ayew’s return to fitness means that the Black Stars have no injury concerns for tonight’s encounter.
Reports suggest that Kofi-Kyereh will make the starting XI, in what will be the only change from the team that played Morocco in the opening game.
