Nurudeen Amadu said King Faisal cannot think about the title race despite their current form.
The “Insha Allah” boys have amassed up 23 points, joint top of the ladder with record league holders, Asante Kotoko after 11 games with the latter on an outstanding fixture against rivals, Hearts of Oak.
Nurudeen Amadu has insisted he is not in to win the league but maintain a respectable finish at the end of the season.
“We are not title contenders. I will always maintain that. We all know the favorite when it comes to the Ghana Premier League. I won’t accept the contenders tag. We are just taking it match after match.
“Our target has always been to maintain a respectable position at the end of the season, and we are working on that.” He told footballmadeinghana.com.
King Faisal will be looking to maintain their momentum when they travel to Techiman to face Eleven Wonders.
