Midfielder Emmanuel Nettey has bid farewell to Hearts of Oak after ending his three year spell with the club.
The midfielder who has since joined Iraqi Division One League side Duhok SC took his official Facebook page to write a farewell message to his former club.
Nettey thanked Togbe Afede, board members of the club, technical team, playing body and the entire supporters of the club for the time he spent at the club.
“I will like to thank His Royal Highness Togbe Afede XIV, the board members , the technical and playing body and the supporters of the Accra Hearts of Oak club for everything we did and achieved together during my stay at the club. Happy to be part of this great family and team that broke the long trophy drought of the club and that was one of my top targets and I thank God it was achieved in grand style. If I ever wronged anyone during my stay at the club I’m sorry 🙏🏿 and I ask for forgiveness. I want people to Judge me by what they saw and not what they heard. God’s timing and plan has always been perfect and I believe strongly in that. So it’s time to move on. Thanks for all the memories and I will forever cherish them ❤️. #ForeverPhobian ❤️💛💙#Godisthereason #Jeegidigidi.
The midfielder joined Hearts of Oak in 2019/2020 season after parting ways with Inter Allies .
