Ghana’s skipper Andre Ayew will join his teammates in training on Tuesday ahead of the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.
The skipper who featured in Al Sadd game against Al Sailiya on Monday is expected to take part in Milovan Rajevac’s Tuesday training session ahead of Wednesday’s friendly against Algeria.
Ayew will join his brother Jordan Ayew, Jojo Wallocot and Daniel Amartey who arrived at the team’s training camp on Monday.
18 players are currently in the camp as Milovan Rajevac await his full squad the tournament
The player’s who are yet to report in camp are Thomas Partey (Arsenal), Baba Iddrisu (Real Mallorca), Baba Rahman (Reading) Andy Yiadom (Reading), Abdul Moomin (Vitória Guimarães SC) and Kamaldeen Sulemana (Rennes), Philemon Baffour (Dreams FC), and Alexander Djiku (Strasbourg) and Kudus Mohammed.
Ghana will play a pre-tournament friendly with reigning African champions Algeria. The Black Stars need this game to ready themselves for their AFCON 2021 group opener against Morocco on Monday January.
The team will then face Gabon and Comoros on January 14 and 18 respectively.
