Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has joined the Ghana team as they prepare for the AFCON tournament in Doha.
The midfielder is part of the Black Stars team set to represent Ghana at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon which kicks off in a few days but has not not been able to report until now.
Partey was involved in Arsenal’s defeat at the hands of Manchester City over the weekend.
The Ghanaian international was impressive in the game as the Gunners dominated the defending champions throughout the first half and until the sending of Gabriel.
Following the game, Partey has now joined up with his colleagues in camp to wrap up preparations for the tournament.
The arrival of Partey is certainly a boost for Milovan Rajevac’s team who begin their campaign on the 10th of January against Morocco.
The Stars will then play Gabon on 14th January before playing Comoros on 18th to round off the group stages.
