Berekum Chelsea returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Ashantigold on Sunday.

A first half penalty from Stephen Anokye Badu handed the Bibires an important win.

It was Chelsea who started the game very well dominating possession as the visitors struggled to find their feat.

The host came close several times before the half hour mark but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Chelsea were awarded a penalty on the 38th minute for a foul in the penalty box.

Stephen Anokye Badu sent the keeper the wrong way to give the host the lead.

After the restart, the visitors lifted their performance asking the host a lot of questions.

Ashantigold despite dominating the second half couldn’t find the needed equalizer as the host held on to the their lead till the blast of the final whistle.

The win is Berekum Chelsea third win of the season.
