It was a flurry of goals in the first-ever top-flight meeting between Bibiani Goldstars and Karela United.
Both teams went into the game on the back of winless runs from their previous two games and were keen to bounce back to winning ways.
It was the home side however that took the lead through talisman Prince Owusu Kwabena just on the stroke of half-time.
Goldstars then went on to double their advantage 17 minutes after the recess through Charles Gyamfi.
Karela United pulled one back from the spot through Umar Bashiru as they threatened to do a comeback.
The home side would however snuff out any hopes of a comeback as they got a third from Nuhu Sule and sealed the victory.
The result sees Goldstars moving up the league log to 9th position whilst Karela drop to 13th.
