Bankroller of King Faisal Babes, Alhaji Grusah was full of praise for the officiating team that handled his side’s 3-1 over Aduana Stars on Sunday.
King Faisal went into the game on the back of an opening day win whilst Aduana Stars went seeking for their first win having drawn on the opening day.
Aduana Stars boasted of an impressive home record from last season as they were unbeaten all throughout the campaign.
The Inshallah boys, however, brought that run to a halt after a brace from Osman Ibrahim and a goal from Abdul Latif gave King Faisal the three maximum points.
Alhaji Grusah after the game spoke of the officials in high esteem and charged other officials to exhibit such top-level performances.
“It was a very good game yesterday at the Dormaa park but I must say that my boys played so well and the victory was very deserved. The referee was very good; he did so well on the day”. Alhaji Grunsah said on Hot FM.
“If Ghana will continue to have such good performances from officiating officials, then our football will surely get to the level, we all expected”.
” I remember the days of referee Justice Abban who frequently was representing Ghana in AFCON, I believe we must get to that level again, and let’s also not forget Mr. Alex Kotey who is referees manager now at GFA, he is doing so well to lift the image of referees again” he concluded.
