Ghana’s Abdul Majeed Waris has received a honorary degree from the Hartpury College in the United Kingdom.
The 30 year old was awarded the degree for his role in sports and his ability to combine education and football.
Waris took to his Twitter account to share the news and express his gratitude to the school for their support.

The Tamale native began his football career at the famous Right to Dream Academy in Akosombo, before leaving Ghana to the UK to continue his studies at Hartpury college wile playing football.
He is currently on the books of French Ligue 1 outfit Racing Club de Strasbourg.
