Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has said his farewell to Xavi as his former coach draws closer to rejoining Barcelona.
Ayew joined Xavi’s squad in July this year as a free agent, but the pair are set to be separated after winning their first trophy together few weeks ago.
Xavi who played for Barcelona for majority of his playing career is expected to take over as the new Barcelona boss following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman last month.
Ahead of his official appointment, Andre Ayew has taken to Twitter to thank Xavi for the time they spent together at Al Sadd and wished him well in his new journey.
He tweeted: “Mister thank you for everything. Ur humbleness is unique , learned so much in this few months. Proud to have worked with such a legend. May Allah bless ur new chapter. Good luck Mister!”
